OUR MINISTRY PURPOSE: Northside Presbyterian Church is a faith community focused on glorifying God by being:

  • Welcoming in worship
  • Inclusive by intention
  • Joyful in doing justice
  • Liberal in love

Northside is a warm, dynamic, and family-like congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With an energetic staff and membership, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, Northside provides a wide spectrum of spiritual growth opportunities.

We at Northside invite everyone -- regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or other worldly condition -- to fully join us in worship, education, servant leadership, and outreach. We are a More Light congregation, embracing the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of faith in our life and ministry, and witnessing to the same in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Symbolized by the Communion bread loaf freshly baked by church member Jeff Renner (pictured), we seek to affirm the warmth of Christ's wildly inclusive love leavened with God's passion for social justice for all members of Earth's family. In this way, we celebrate the Spirit's powerful gift of grace in all areas of human experience.
