Men's Gospel Breakfast
1st, 3rd, 5th Fridays of the month
7:00 - 8:30 AM
Several men from Northside and our sibling congregation, St. Aidan's Episcopal, meet at the Bob Evans Restaurant at 2411 Carpenter Road in Ann Arbor, one block south of Washtenaw Ave., to discuss chapters of a book of interest. Recent books we have covered include John Shelby Spong’s Jesus for the Non-Religious and Marcus Borg's The Heart of Christianity: Rediscovering a Life of Faith.
Beginning April 3, we are discussing Steven Waldman's fascinating Founding Faith: How Our Founding Fathers Forged a Radical New Approach to Religious Liberty (Random House, 2009). Reading for April 17: chapters 6-10.
Come join our generational and vocational mix -- a biochemist, a historian, an engineer, a physician, an attorney, a teacher, and a preacher -- in the spirit of Christian fellowship for some of the most stimulating and faith-forming discussions this side of Lake Huron!
