Men's Gospel Breakfast
1st, 3rd, 5th Fridays of the month
7:00 - 8:00 AM
Several Fridays every month, about 7-8 men from both Northside
and our sibling congregation, St. Aidan's Episcopal, meet at
the Big Boy Restaurant on Washtenaw Ave., 1 block E of Huron
Pkwy., to discuss the latest chapter of a book of interest. Recent
books we have covered include John Shelby Spong’s Why
Christianity Must Change or Die: A Bishop Speaks to Believers
in Exile, and
Douglas Porpora’s Landscapes of the Soul: The Loss of
Moral Meaning in American Life. Come join our racial/ethnic
and generational mix in the spirit of Chrisian fellowship for
some of the most stimulating and faith-challenging discussions
this side of Lake Huron!
